NYC

Lou took me to New York City this past weekend as a surprise for our 12th anniversary. We had so much fun!! Stayed in a loft apartment, went shopping, saw ground zero ... basically, we were just happy to be without kids and with each other!! It was a great time and he is a great husband. He had researched all the cool places to shop (for less!) and we hit them, then did Madison Avenue. I couldn't live in the city, but it is definately fun to visit. There were thousands of people out this weekend ... just people watching was great fun!!! He is the best ... so glad he is mine!!!

And the question is ...

And the question is ... does anyone else have a problem with this? Lou put our kids, ages 8, 6 and 3 out on the roof of the house while he went and hung lights on the other end. Read some Erwin McManus book about boys taking hold of life and living it to the fullest .... but my question is this: should they fall off the roof and break many bones, who pretell is that living life to the fullest???

Well i'll be ... I am actually sitting here on the couch BLOGGING! Will miracles never cease? One of my New Year's Resolutions is to find out what all the fun is ... and admire my husband's witty writing. So here I am ... SURPRISE!!!
